Bryan Police Accident Reports Available Online

In an effort to improve our level of service to citizens, the Bryan Police Department has entered into a partnership with PoliceReports.us to implement a new on-line program for obtaining copies of traffic accident reports. This service will allow the public and their respective insurance companies the flexibility of receiving reports on-line and will eliminate the need to travel to the Police Department to obtain a copy of an accident report.

Accident reports generated on or after February 1, 2010, can be accessed through the City of Bryan Police Department website at www.bryantxpolice.com. Once you are at the police homepage, click on Accident Database on the right hand side of the page. The link on this page will direct you to the on-line accident report database. A computer, printer, access to the Internet and a credit card or debit card to purchase copies of reports will be required. Citizens can go directly to http://bryantx.policereports.us/ to purchase the accident reports.

To search for an accident report, you must have the report number OR date of accident AND last name of the driver. The report is then immediately displayed and available for printing.

The Bryan Police Department recommends that you allow a minimum of ten working days after the accident has occurred before attempting to access the report. Some accidents may require additional time to process.

This technology, designed by PoliceReports.US, LC, allows the Bryan Police Department to operate more efficiently while providing enhanced customer service to the citizens. The cost of the on-line service is $6.00. Citizens will still have the option of coming to the Police Department to pick up their reports if they prefer paying with a check or cash.
